Sarajevo has an extensive, reliable and convenient public transport system and you can use buses, trams, small buses and taxis to get around in Sarajevo.
In order to use public transport, you need to buy a public transport card that is available for varying durations in most kiosks and stations. It is also possible for you to pay in cash on buses and small buses to the driver but you will be paying 0.20 KM more in comparison to a regular city transport card.
