About Abu Dhabi International Airport
Abu Dhabi Airport serves since 1982. There are 3 operational terminals in this airport. Terminal-2 was built in 2005 and Terminal-3 was opened in 2009. Consequently, the airport capacity is raised to 12 million passengers per year. Airport bus services were introduced after the Abu Dhabi bus network is established in the late 2000s and 2010s.
Transport from Abu Dhabi International Airport to the City Center
There are mainly two transportation options from the airport to the city center. The first one is using bus services. There are five bus routes from the Airport to the city. The most popular and efficient bus service is A1 Bus Line, which operates 24/7. It takes around 45 minutes to reach the bus station in the city center. You can take the A1 from all of the terminals. The second alternative is more convenient and faster; you can book a taxi or consider car rental services offered by Pegasus Airlines. Pegasus allows you to make a reservation for a car on your arrival to your destination.
Public Transport
The main city transportation is provided by Public Bus Transport. Also, you can reserve a taxi from the web site of the Transportation Center. You will need "Hafilat card" (re-loadable transport card) to use public transportation.

Corniche Street, which is close to the seaside is a very common accommodation area. Tourist club zone and downtown are also very popular amongst tourists.
